IMO for the collector the Russian Tula's are the most sought after SKS's with next being the factory 26's, but the rarest SKS rifles are the North Koreans and the Vietnamese ones. Buy a SVT40 if you want SKS with mags... you get the benefit of a more valuable gun, bigger caliber round, etc. or buy an AK. butcher a nice SKS and you earn a visit from the power rake we use on those who butcher up mosins. 2-2 1/2 " groups are the norm for a friend's Russian SKS at 100 yards.
